Tuesday, September 20th is National Voter Registration Day! This November’s election is one of the most important of our lifetime. Our democracy faces grave threats, from efforts to diminish the right to vote to banning of books and whitewashing of history in our schools. These issues are on the ballot this November. I expect the eyes of America will be watching our results - Broward County can show people across the country what we believe in. Turnout in the August 2022 primary was solid but not record-breaking. This November is our chance to smash turnout records and reinforce the strength of our democracy.
